A strange event in Leuven, Belgium recently left a hatchback upside down after it moved off an increasing bridge. What seems a Nissan Note (it’s tough to inform in the potato-spec video footage) was recorded parked on one side of the Marie Thumas Bridge as it increased, frantically hanging on up until the angle ended up being too severe.
Eventually, the Nissan slides in reverse off the bridge, rolling onto its roofing. The 3 residents, a couple and their 18- month old kid needed to be devoid of the stricken car by the fire brigade. All were required to the neighboring Gasthuisberg healthcare facility, although luckily none suffered major injuries.
It hasn’t been figured out if the motorist didn’t discover or neglected the traffic signals for the bridge, or if a technical fault indicated they did not show early enough prior to the roadway began increasing to permit a ship to travel through. The traffic signal was definitely lit up once the bridge was being opened, as displayed in one image released by the Brussels Times, in which we can likewise see closed barriers.
Vlaamse Waterweg (Flemish Waterway) stated recently that it was examining the reason for the occurrence.
